Stevie Richards, born Michael Stephen Manna, is an American professional wrestler who has held 24 notable titles in his career. He has wrestled for Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (WWF/WWE), Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Lucha Libre USA, and most recently Extreme Rising. Richards has also appeared for Ring Of Honor (ROH) and IWA Japan.
Richards has been billed under multiple ring names, including Big Stevie Cool, Dr. Stevie, Dr. Stevie Richards, Impostor Dude Love, Steve Richards and Steven Richards. He received his training from Mike Sharpe, Jimmy Jannetty and Glen Osbourne at Mike Sharpe’s wrestling school in Brick Township, New Jersey.
Outside of wrestling, Richards started his own technology podcast called “The T4 Show” (Tech Today Tech Tomorrow) in 2007. In 2008, he became an instructor at the Stratford, Connecticut campus of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. In 2011, he pitched a perfect game in the MLB 2K11 video game, but did not win the $1 million prize because he did so before the contest officially started.
