It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mitchell Einck, a beloved son, born in Waukon, who tragically left us at the tender age of 26 on September 16, 2012, at the UI Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Mitchell was an extraordinary young man whose spirit shone brightly in the lives of those who knew him.
Friends and family will gather to honor Mitchell’s memory at Waukon’s St. Patrick Catholic Church on Friday, September 21, at 11 a.m., with the funeral service officiated by Fr. Joseph Schneider.
Following the service, Mitchell will be laid to rest at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Waukon.
To remember and honor Mitchell’s life, the Martin Funeral Home in Waukon will host a Scripture service on Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m.
